Welcome to Monday... If any of you are like me, the weekends, which I would like to say I reserve for a little R&R, are usually anything but.
We did have a delicious harvest this weekend however which was wonderful!
Between weekend festivities and daily mayhem, Mondays generally greet me with a big cup of coffee Rooibos Tea and a lion mane of thick hair. So I have found no better way to start off the week then with a metabolic kick in the butt.
Let me introduce you to the
Mission Readiness Challenge!

Each exercise is done for 1 minute, as many as you can BUT with proper form.

After each exercise you get 30 seconds of rest.
1. Hamstring Curl: 1 MIN
A> Put your heels in the straps and with equal pressure through each foot, lift hips, palms
pushing through the floor, fingers gripping the floor.
B> Bend your knees to 90 degree angle, keeping hips high. Then straighten legs back out.

2. Low Row: 1 MIN
A> Start with your hands near your armpits, elbows pressed to your ribs and shoulder blades
squeezed together.
"Pinch a Penny between them"
B> Extend your arms UNTIL you start to feel your shoulder blades begin to loosen. Now pull
back in for the row!

3. Suspended Lunge: Right Leg then Left Leg
A> With 1 foot in the straps, firmly root your self to the floor on your standing leg. Balance is key.

B> Shift your weight back through the foot in the straps into a deep lunge. Notice my front knee is
at a 90 degree angle and directly over my ankle. Back leg is extended and foot is flexed.
C> Pressing down through your suspended leg, drive your knee forward to balance. Then with control flow
right back into another lunge.

3. Atomic Pike
A> With toes in the straps, come to a high plank.
B> Push up.
