Military Awareness Day Success :)

What a beautiful day it was!! 
The sunshine was out all day and the combination of the rockin' music and delicious food made this the perfect day! 


Thanks to everyone who came out!! It was great to see you all and introduce you to TRX!


I hope everyone got to experience our love for TRX suspension training and RIP training! In the pictures below you can see my daughters, Denise and Emily with some of the awesome TRX-ers we met today. 
It was so wonderful to see all of you.






 Denise and I also had a 40-40 challenge today!

Here is your FIRST challenge!! 

The 40-40 challenge includes as many Atomic pikes as you can do, followed directly by as many low rows as you can do.  The goal is to do 40 of each, hence, the name.




Denise is showing an example of an Atomic pike. Her feet are in the straps and she started  in a plank position. Remember: tighten that core by pulling your belly-button to your spine. Squeeze your knees and feet together. 
She's lifting her tailbone towards the sky into a pike and then back down to a plank. Now do a push up. Back into a pike.  Thats 1!




I am showing a Low Row. Standing in a plank position the whole time, pull your elbows past your ribs, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Start to straighten your arms and lower your body. You only want your arms to extend half way ~until the pinch between your shoulder blades starts to release~ then pull your arms right back in.
  Do Not let your hips sway! Thats 1!
